bon voyage, ma chere. dites boujours a mes amis dans le havres. peut-etre mes freres et soeurs seront la. :))
call me killjoy, but … the war found normandie in NY, it was seized, renamed USS lafayette to serve as a troopship. then it caught fire, capsized at the pier in NY, and ultimately scrapped in 1946. france ultimately was scrapped on a beach in alang in 2008. quel tristesse.
[…] And, last but . . .. here Explorer of the Seas heads out towards the Narrows from the Bayonne passenger terminal. Seeing people afloat sometimes conjures up thoughts of the past, a different pace and rhythm, the glamour of ocean liners like those created by bowsprite here. […]
Have fun! Be creative, make some nice pics!

We met on sunday morning the 03/28 in le Havre harbour, near french navy boats and we were discussing about Irish terminal where you would want to have a visit for seeing the “Docks en Stock” exhibition. I told you the name of the last one : Sandy Hook, who was a famous french merchant boat painter. They were about 2000 visitors during two months, a lot of interest.
…
Bon Voyage
