The New York City Council’s Committee on Waterfronts will hold a hearing on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the 14th Floor Committee Room, 250 Broadway, New York, NY.

Hey, Cityfolks! even those living in waterfront condominiums will need food and goods brought in and wastes removed. Can’t keep trucking.

      Well, the city will create ways to accept food and shove off wastes along the shores when they finally have to.

      Thank goodness the Jones Act keeps our shipyards & mariners still in place.

      Yes, ships are cheaper to make overseas. But an American ship costs what it does to be made here.

      Did you see the that Lockheed Martin just signed a partnership with DSME in the combat ship sector? Interesting.
